Training With a Purpose

You will notice that there are hyperlink added to both your daily notes as well as your workouts, please click on each hyperlink prior to heading out the door so that you can “see” the concept, maximize your efficiency and minimize your risk of injury.  As we bring your volume up, your goal is to maintain your efficiency factor as long as possible.  When you do this, you will be able to go faster/longer with less residual fatigue – imperative to your success at this distance.

If you haven’t received a massage and chiropractic adjustment, please schedule one within the next week.  This is an interesting “cycle” because muscles move the bones, but if the bones are out of align, they will pull on the muscles and keep them tight.  On the other hand, if the muscles are tight, then they pull on their attachments at the bone level, pulling them out of alignment.  For this reason, both massage and chiropractic need to be completed together.  Once the muscles are relaxed and the bones are aligned, you have the foundation for overall health, wellness and speed!

Training with a purpose, another tool to help you Work Smart, Not Hard, and Avoid Overtraining!

Yours in sport & health,

-Coach Robb, Coaches, and Staff
